Many eCommerce vendors come to realize that generating revenue or building a fan following is not for the faint of hearts. Just because you have an online store doesn't mean you will be successful. It takes total commitment and tapping the entire digital marketing ecosystem (web design/email/social media/ppc/seo/blogging) to be successful online!


Come to think of it if you were a traditional brick and motor store your degree of influence will be geared more towards a particular geographic spread. So everything you do to attract and bring foot traffic to your store is rather finite.


In the online word one could argue that your customer base can be most anywhere and still become ardent die hard fans of your product or service! This also means you have to have the wherewithal to identify, nurture, harvest and build long term customer relationships with your online audience.


One of the most effective ways to start reaching out to folks and build a following is bay far using social media marketing.
